Why we handle giving by email
This website deliberately processes no payments. It collects no card details, runs no donation form, and stores nothing about you. Handling contributions through direct correspondence means every donor receives instructions confirmed by the Foundation itself, from an address at this domain, rather than through a third-party page we do not control.
Tell us roughly what you have in mind — a one-off gift, recurring support, a grant from a foundation or donor-advised fund, or an in-kind contribution — and we will send the relevant instructions.

Funding the practical work
Housing education and counseling are unglamorous, labour-intensive work: preparing materials, sitting with a household through their numbers, explaining a process that nobody explained to them the first time.

Before you give
What you should know
We would rather you give with full information than quickly. A few things worth knowing:
- Verify us first. Our EIN is 92-1325113 and our Florida document number is N22000013404. Both can be checked in public records — the links are on our Transparency page.
- We do not process donations on this website. There is no payment form here. Instructions come only in a reply from an address at this domain.
- Beware of impersonation. We will never ask for gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfers to a personal account. If a message claiming to be from us does, it is not from us — please report it to info@therealestatefoundation.org.
- Ask for documentation. We will provide our determination letter and recent Form 990 on request, before you give.
How contributions are used
Donations, grants, program revenue, and donated or discounted technology are applied exclusively to the Foundation's charitable and educational purposes. No part of the Foundation's net earnings inures to the benefit of any private individual.
